The world is filled with beauty so stunning that we want to freeze the image in time. My role as a photographer in capturing this beauty, is to invite the viewer to the adventures they have yet to seek.

In my photography I am finally putting my Ivy league education in engineering to good use, blending the precision engineering of the technical demands of photography with the creative artistry that brings it to life. I’m based in Northern Italy but the free world is my studio and I’ve photographed extensively across western and central Europe for travel articles and features.

A hotel, a spa, a dining room represent much more than bricks, mortar and style. The photograph of a space must suggest the story that lies beneath and entice the viewer to imagine the people, character and the feeling it encompasses. I aim to use my lens to sift through the component parts of a face or a place, to capture the underlying emotion, a suggestion of mood and the energy of its expression.
